Born in China during the 1980s, this project concerns my exploration on my identity. It started with the study on Chinese Cultural Revolution and analyzes the social phenomena ever since the opening and reforming policy. Meanwhile it will summarize the influence on Post-80s by their families and explores what Post-80s really need. And the uniform from Chinese Cultural Revolution as a metaphor for identity will be used to conform and then to break free from it. The youth’s communal identity, philosophy of life and psychology would be staged by means of artistic expression. Besides that, I will express the progress on their sense of belonging and evolution as a Chinese.
