Membership and Loan Policies
Student Loan Entitlement:
Diploma Students :
8 books/periodicals/magazines
2 weeks loan period
Maximum loan of 8 items
1 renewal for books/periodicals for 1 week, unless reserved
3 Audiovisual items (DVDs/CDs)
1-week loan period
Overdue fines:
20 cents per day for books and periodicals
50 cents per day for Audiovisual items (DVDs/CDs)
BA Students :
10 books/periodicals/magazines
2 weeks loan period
Maximum loan of 10 items
1 renewal for books/periodicals for 1 week, unless reserved

**Students from all Programmes are allowed to check out the film collection, observing the following:
i) The IMDA statutory classifications: NC16, M18, R21 and RA
ii) Restricted collection not for public viewing
Staff Loan Entitlement:
Full Time Staff:

Part-time Staff:
15 books
5 Audiovisual items (DVDs and CDs)
Admin Staff:
10 books

Overdue fines (applicable to Part-Time):
50 cents per day for all Library materials.
LOAN DURATION:
21 days for books with 1 renewal for 7 days

For the request of titles available in the NTU libraries, Academic staff and students must email [email protected] – Interlibrary loan will be arranged for titles not available in the college library.
To access the NUS library for research purposes, Academic staff and students must email [email protected] for an authorisation letter.
NUS charges S$10 for each title (w/out GST). Interlibrary loans will be arranged for titles not available in the college library.
