Welcome to THE NGEE ANN KONGI LIBRARY

The Ngee Ann Kongsi Library at the McNally Campus is a specialist arts library with a unique collection focusing on research and artistic practices in the region and globally. Our current physical collection stands at 130,000 publications with a growth projection of 250,000 supported by an e-collection. Currently, over 16,000 course-related eBooks and journal articles are available as PDF. The library also carries a collection of over 10,000 audio-visual resources, including 2,252 film titles.

The library website is a one-stop access point to a wide range of resources. Students can access a collection of over a million e-books via Routledge, SpringerLink, Ebooks.com, Proquest Ebook Central and World Scientific, along with more than 100,000 e-journals through MIT, Oxford University, Taylor and Francis, and Sage.

To further support the increasing research needs of the LASALLE community, additional specialised programme-specific databases have been acquired including Drama Online (Performing Arts), WGSN (Fashion), Bloomsbury (Design) and Kanopy Film Database (Animation and Film).

The library is an interactive space supporting staff and student exhibitions, book launches, talks and various other activities, nurturing creativity. It encourages dialogue among artists, students and educators by providing the platform and space for such interactions to further enrich the learning experience at LASALLE.
